Zenon Control Tech has added a compact variant to its Rapper and Micro Tapper panel range, aimed at electrostatic precipitator retrofits where the existing control room has no space for a full-width assembly.
The panel handles single-phase rapping motors in the 3 to 6 kW band at 110 to 220 volts, with sequence timing that can be set per field rather than as one global cycle. The mild steel enclosure keeps the same finish and ingress protection as our standard range, in a reduced footprint.
Why we built it
Several enquiries this year came from plants replacing ageing rapper controls inside rooms that had been rebuilt around the original panel. Rather than ask the customer to find space, we redesigned the internal layout so the same functionality fits a narrower frame.
